All Levels Vinyasa

Perfect for any level of yogi from a true beginner to a seasoned practitioner! The translation of the Sanskrit word vinyasa is often “to place in a special way.” This mindful 60 minute practice will help to foster the mind-body connection through an accessible + mindful sequence of movement + meditation.

 

Hot Power

For yogis who love to sweat and take a more athletic approach to their asana! Some yoga experience is suggested, but not mandatory, for this heated class. Bring water and a towel for your mat, and get ready for an hour of powerful vinyasa. 

 

Vin + Yin

This class begins with 30 minutes of energetic vinyasa to warm up your muscles + build some heat in the body. The last 30 minutes will be focused on yin postures to slow your heart rate, calm your mind, and center you in your practice. 


 

Yoga for Beginners

Ease yourself into the practice of yoga in a supportive and educational environment. Get to know basic yoga postures and breathing techniques with the guidance of an experienced yoga teacher. Beginner yogis are the focus of this class, but every level of practitioner is welcome. Get back to the basics of your practice and fine-tune your alignment and breath in a class that supports all yogis!


 

Weights + Warriors

Get ready to tune in + tone up your mind-body-spirit connection with this strength infused yoga class. In a gently heated room, you’ll start with a mindful meditation to slow down your thoughts and set intention. Then you’ll connect breath to movement with guided Sun Salutations as you begin to warm up your body and make space in your mind. Then, get ready to dive deep + heat up with your favorite asanas using 2, 3, or 5 pound weights! This hybrid class will do more than add resistance training to your physical practice- it will create a deeper sense of tolerance, strength, and discipline in the mind while still offering the safe and judgement free environment that the practice of yoga fosters. Resting in child’s pose is ALWAYS acceptable in ANY YS class. Yoga Squared will provide weights, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own! Savasana? You bet!

 

Warm Deep Stretch

This one-hour gently heated class is great for all levels to help strengthen and stretch the body as well as build stabilization. This all-levels class is great for runners, spinners, constant-sitters, and never-quitters. 


 

YINyasa

In this dynamic class, you will spend the first half in stillness practicing yin yoga - long holds in poses that encourage your muscles to lengthen and soften. For the second half of class, you'll transition to an energizing + invigorating vinyasa practice. It's the best of both worlds!

 

Bells + Bands

This 45-minute fitness-style class features the use of dumbbells and resistance bands for an increased strength-training component. 2, 3, 5, and 10lb dumbbells are available at the studio, or bring your own! Resistance bands in light, heavy, + medium are available for your use, or you can bring your own bands!


 

Katonah x Chairs 

Get to know your practice in a dynamic + dimensional new way with the introduction of chairs! Join certified Katonah Yoga teacher Elizabeth Tipton as you dive into Katonah theory, use props to their fullest potential, and break down postures + practices in communal conversation. Optional assists will be given safely and (as always) only with consent! Come play, practice, and explore :)

 

Gentle Flow 

Slow down and experience the joy of creating a meaningful mind-body connection in this all-levels gentle flow. Suitable for yogis who are just beginning, or more experienced yogis looking to find ease and calm in an established practice.

 

All Levels Hatha

During this class, you will focus on aligning + calming your mind, body, + spirit through the channeling of breath and energy. Because the pace of Hatha yoga is generally slow and gentle, this class is the ideal starting place for the beginner yogi. However, any level of yogi can certainly benefit from this style of practice, which brings the focus back to the deep physical, emotional, and spiritual connection to be found within each posture. 

 

Slow Vin to Yin

This non-heated class begins with a slow vinyasa practice that will help you connect with your breath and your inner being while engaging in mindful movement. Then, you'll be guided into sustained stillness during the yin portion of your practice. Holding postures in this way helps to release the fascia and promote deeper healing and the release of tension and fear.

 

Warm Vinyasa

In this gently heated (approximately 85 degrees) class, your teacher will guide you through a series of warming Sun Salutations, moving into a guided Vinyasa practice. The word "vinyasa" means "to place in a special way," and in this practice you will learn to link breath to movement and flow from one posture to the next. Class is appropriate for all levels, and options will be given to find variations of postures to suit the experience level of the individual practitioner.

 

Strong Flow 

Experience the depth that exists in every posture during this 60 minute, gently heated vinyasa experience.  This class allows yogis of all levels the time and space to explore each asana and each breath fully in an approachable + challenging way.

Meditation 

In this 30-minute class, various meditation techniques will be employed to help you truly inhabit your body, finding stillness and presence. Whether you are a longtime practitioner or are brand new to the practice of meditation- this class is for you. Truly, this class is for EVERYONE who has ever felt the need for more peace and acceptance. Join a community of like minded individuals during group meditation and experience the calm and peaceful energy that we create together.

 

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a magical practice that takes you to a place between waking and sleeping.  Your body will become more relaxed than it has ever been as you become increasingly aware of your inner world by following a set of verbal instructions given to you by an experienced guide. In addition, Kevin offers 7-chakra singing bowl meditation music to accompany this deeply relaxing class.  This is a unique and special offering and a wonderful opportunity to end your weekend - and start your week - with the best possible mindset.

 

Relax + Restore 

60 minutes of restorative postures and relaxation with the assistance of blocks, straps, bolsters, and a teacher with a passion for restorative yoga. Additional assists, essential oils, and reiki are usually involved! Enjoy!
